Electronic Communications Consent
Your consent to receive agreements, statements, trade confirmations, tax documents and notices electronically.
Effective date: October 26, 2026 · Issued by Vantar Inc.
Please read this carefully and save or print a copy. Vantar is a digital service. To open and keep an Account, you must agree to receive documents electronically and to sign agreements electronically. If you don’t agree, we can’t open an Account for you.
At a glance
- We’ll deliver your agreements, statements, confirmations, tax forms and notices in the app, on the web or by email.
- You can ask for a paper copy of any document at any time. Paper copies are free, but a delivery fee may apply, as shown in our Fee Schedule. We’ll tell you the fee before we send anything.
- You can withdraw this consent at any time. Because Vantar is digital-only, withdrawing may mean we restrict or close your Account.
- Keep your email address up to date.
Who this consent covers
This consent applies to communications from:
- Vantar Inc. (“Vantar”)
- Alpaca Securities LLC (“Alpaca”), which holds your brokerage account
- Wyrr, which provides your wallets
- their affiliates and service providers acting for them
In this consent, these are “we” and “us”. “Communications” means all the records described in section 2. Our affiliates and service providers may also ask you to agree to their own electronic delivery terms.
What this consent covers
2.1 You agree that we may provide the following electronically instead of on paper. This applies to every Account and service you have with us, now or in the future, until you withdraw this consent:
2.2 Electronic signatures. You agree that you can accept agreements and give authorizations electronically. You can do this by selecting “I agree”, ticking a box, or confirming with biometric or device authentication. Your electronic signature has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature, and electronic records have the same effect as paper documents.
How we’ll deliver communications
3.1 We may deliver communications by:
- posting them in the Vantar app or web app, for example in Documents, Statements or Activity
- emailing them to the address on your Account, with the document attached or with a link to it
- sending a push notification, in-app message or text message that a communication is available
3.2 A communication counts as delivered when we post it or send it, whether or not you open it. Please check the app and your email regularly.
3.3 Communications posted on the Platform will stay available on the Platform for a reasonable period after we post them, and for at least as long as the law requires. We may remove older communications over time, so please download or print any copies you want to keep. If your Account closes, you’ll no longer be able to access the Platform. You can still request copies of past communications by emailing hello@vantar.co.
Paper copies
You can ask for a paper copy of any communication at any time by emailing hello@vantar.co. Please tell us your name, the email address on your Account, the documents you need, and how you’d like to receive them. Paper copies are free. If you want them delivered, a delivery fee may apply based on the delivery method and your location. We’ll tell you the fee and get your agreement before we send anything. You can also collect paper copies free of charge from our office at Vantar Inc., 8 The Green Suite B, Dover, Delaware.
Withdrawing your consent
5.1 You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing hello@vantar.co with the subject line “Withdraw e-consent”. Your withdrawal takes effect once we have had a reasonable time to process it, and we will confirm by email when it has taken effect. It does not affect the legal validity of communications we delivered electronically before then.
5.2 Because Vantar is a digital-only service, if you withdraw consent we may need to restrict or close your Account. If we restrict your Account, you can still sell holdings and transfer or withdraw assets. If we close it, we will explain how to transfer or withdraw your assets. Until your account is closed, we will deliver any legally required documents by an alternative method allowed by law. We do not charge a fee for withdrawing your consent.
Keeping your contact details current
6.1 You must keep your email address and phone number up to date in Settings › Profile.
6.2 If an email we send you bounces or is undeliverable, we may:
- treat the communication as delivered when we posted it on the Platform
- ask you to update your email address
- restrict your Account until you do
