Community Guidelines
The rules for the Vantar community groups and anywhere members can post.
Effective date: October 26, 2026 · Issued by Vantar Inc.
The Vantar community is a place to learn, ask questions and talk about investing with other members and the Vantar team. These guidelines keep it useful, respectful and safe.
At a glance
- Nothing in the community is investment advice, including posts by Vantar staff.
- Be respectful. No harassment, hate or spam.
- Keep markets fair. No pumping stocks, no coordinated trading, no inside information.
- Protect yourself. Vantar staff will never message you first, ask for codes, or ask you to send money.
- Break the rules and we may remove posts or remove you.
Where these guidelines apply
These guidelines apply to every space Vantar runs or moderates where members can post or interact. This includes:
- the Vantar WhatsApp community: the Announcements group and the discussion group
- any comments, forums or community features in the Vantar app or on our website
- live events, AMAs and webinars we host
By joining or taking part, you agree to follow these guidelines, our Terms of Use and the rules of the platform you’re using, such as WhatsApp’s terms of service.
Who can join
You must be at least 18 to join. Joining is optional and doesn’t affect your Vantar Account.
Nothing here is investment advice
3.1 Everything posted in the community is for discussion and education only. This includes posts by members, by Vantar staff, by guests and at events. None of it is:
- investment, legal or tax advice
- a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security
- an offer or solicitation
3.2 Vantar Inc. gives investment advice only through a written advisory agreement, such as Auto-Invest. Staff won’t discuss your individual account or circumstances in the community. For help with your Account, contact hello@vantar.co or use support in the app.
3.3 Investing involves risk, including losing money you invest. Do your own research. Consider your own situation before making any decision.
Be respectful
- Treat others with courtesy, even when you disagree. Debate ideas, not people.
- No harassment, bullying, intimidation, threats or doxxing.
- No hate speech, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age or any other protected characteristic.
- No sexual, violent, graphic or shocking content.
- No spam, flooding or repeated off-topic posts.
- Keep it on topic: investing, markets, personal finance and Vantar.
Keep markets fair
Market manipulation hurts everyone and is illegal. Don’t:
- promote a security in order to profit when others buy or sell it (“pump and dump”)
- organize or encourage coordinated buying or selling
- spread rumors or information you know, or suspect, is false or misleading
- share material non-public information about a company, or trade on it
- claim or promise guaranteed returns
- impersonate analysts, financial professionals or public figures
- post that you hold a position in order to influence others without disclosing your interest
If you have a financial interest in a security you’re discussing, for example you own it or are paid to promote it, say so clearly.
No selling or promotion
Don’t advertise or solicit for any product, service or opportunity. That includes:
- other brokers, apps, trading groups, signal services and courses
- crypto tokens and projects, and investment or “money-doubling” schemes
- referral or affiliate links and codes, including Vantar referral codes, unless we’ve invited them
- links to other groups or channels
Your content and our use of it
7.1 You’re responsible for what you post. Only post content you have the right to share. Don’t post copyrighted material you don’t own.
7.2 We won’t use your posts, name or likeness in Vantar marketing without your express permission. If we ask and you agree, we’ll include any disclosures the law requires.
7.3 Vantar staff won’t reshare performance screenshots or return claims posted by members.
Protect yourself and others
Scammers often target investment communities. Remember:
- Vantar staff will never message you privately first.
- Vantar will never ask for your password, one-time code or recovery details, ask you to send money or crypto, or ask you to install remote-access apps.
- Vantar doesn’t call customers. We don’t provide support by phone.
- Official Vantar team members are marked as group admins, and their names are listed in the group description.
- Don’t share account numbers, balances, screenshots showing personal details, ID documents or your phone number with other members.
- Be wary of anyone who moves the conversation to private messages, offers to “help” with your Account, or promises returns.
Report suspicious messages to a group admin, or email security@vantar.co.
Privacy
9.1 In WhatsApp groups, other members can see your name, profile photo and phone number. Think about this before joining. Don’t collect or misuse other members’ contact details.
9.2 Don’t share other people’s personal information without their permission.
9.3 Don’t record or screenshot live sessions and share them outside the community without permission.
9.4 See our Privacy Policy for how Vantar handles community information.
